• CASTLE-MONASTERY OF ESCORNALBOU XII-XVI c.

Located 5 minutes away, with a fantastic alround view. The most notable elements are the Romanesque church (XII-XIII c.), the remains of the chapter house and the cloister, as well as the house of the restorer : Mr. Toda. This visit will allow you to see a distinguished house from the beginning of 1900’s. more info

• MIRAVET CASTLE

Castle of stricking austere aspect, located on an exceptional site above the river Ebre. The fortress is composed of different enclosures and we must recommend looking at the parade ground and the Romanesque chapel. Built originally by the Moslems in the XI century, it was one of the last Islamic redoubts in Catalonia. (+)

The Caves of Benifallet are located in the Cardó Mountains, forming a spelaeological net of six caves.

• CARTHUSIAN MONASTERY OF ESCALADEI XII-XVII c.

An important monastery being the first Chartreuse in the Iberian Peninsula. Its origins are from 1194 with the land donation made by king Alphonso the Chaste. Throughout its history it has been continuously redesigned up to the XVIII century, resulting in 3 cloisters. more info
